Brief History of Accreditation :
Tarini Thakurani Mohavidyalaya, Ghagaon is one of the premier Non-Govt. Aided Colleges of Orissa. It is one of the oldest education institution in the district of Keonjhar named after popular deity “Maa Tarini” of this locality. It's basic goals and objectives are to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people of this poor tribal district. It stands like a light house to enhance the intellectual values among the people. Besides imparting education is high standard it aims at training young people in various socio-cultural activities to make them better citizens for the future.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC
The college is accredited “B” Grade by the NAAC on April 2007. It has inspired the staff and students to work with new zeal and new enthusiasm to archive higher grade in the next assessment. The college has entered into the IQAC programme in November'07. All the staff are committed to enhance the all round quality of the institution found at the time of the assessment by NAAC. A committed of IQAC has formed as per the guidelines for the NAAC to look after the sustenance and enhancement of the quality of the institution.
Vision :-
It performs as a catalyst to provide quality education to the young and to generate a sense of moral values and ethics to fulfill their goals and objectives.
Mission :-
It has goal of making the college one of the leading premier institution of Orissa especially of North Orissa University . It plans to enhance both curricular and extra curricular activities and to boost up the leadership qualities , character and discipline among the young mass.

The self-reviewed annual progress report detailing the tangible results achieved in key areas are submitted herewith. These areas are specifically identified by the IQAC committee in the beginning of the academic year by devising perspective plan this report is prepared on the basis of the revised guidelines for the IQAC in Accredited institutions : follow up action plan Ref- Letter from NAAC IQAC/214 date 30.10.2007
