Cultural activities:-
The cultural committee has organized various cultural programmes such as song, dance, mono-action etc. and has special cultural programme on 15th August , 26th January, Teacher's Day and on National Youth Day.
Infrastructure Development:-
A new building “Tarini Soudh” funded by the Maa Tarini Temple Trust which was under the construction at the NAAC assessment 2007 is inaugurated on 29.02.2008. Principal's office and the general office will shift to a portion of this building and the other portion will be utilized for the class rooms. The upper floor of this building will also be constructed very soon. The present office of the Principal will be converted for the hostel of the SC & ST girls' students. Besides this a new laboratory building, office building and one watchman's quarter are constructed.
New books :-
Books , journals and racks worth of Rs.80.000 has been purchased for the library.
New subjects & Seminars :-
Hons has been opened for Oriya and Economics.
Maintenance of Computers :-
An annual service contract has been provided for the computers
